Hello everyone,
I am Korean Muslim revert, founder of meokja(sg) and creator of this site.
When I arrived in Singapore, and as I assimilated into the culture and Islam,
I realised that many fellow Muslims were not able to experience proper halal Korean food.
There were days where I longed for a hearty bowl of stew but there were simply limited options available.
Which is why I decided to start this home-based business; to share and create awareness of what authentic Korean food should taste like,
using only permissible (halal) ingredients. Through taste, through authenticity,
InsyaAllah, I will do my best to provide all with the ultimate service.
